What is the RHEACT™ technology and what are the benefits of it?
ISKO™ RHEACT™ is the world's first woven apparel compression technology. From traveling, cycling and high impact training to work, home and relaxation, RHEACT™ is highly versatile, helping you feel the flow wherever you are and whatever you are doing. This is the result of many years of development led by ISKO™’s research laboratory. The result is a unique woven compression technology that increases your blood flow. This in turn helps you feel more energised, more focussed.
How does Isko Rheact™ technology work?
We apply gradual compression. Meaning that RHEACT™ will apply varying levels of compression which improves and increases your blood flow. Sports enthusiasts may benefit from reduced muscle fatigue and soreness, strain prevention, more efficient body movement and improved performance. Whilst improved posture, better muscle oxygenation and micro-massages on the skin of limbs to increase blood circulation contribute to overall health and wellness.
How does graduated compression works on the body?
Graduated compression improves venous flow, i.e. blood circulation in the veins. ARTEFIT™ compression garments exert a gentle squeeze which is graduated because the pressure starts first at the ankle (100%) and then gradually decreases as it moves further up the leg. This stimulates the removal of lactic acids (which can cause muscle cramps) from the blood and improves blood circulation, helping to increase energy and speeding up recovery.

ISKO™ Cosy gives the garment an additional dimension, soft to the skin, 4 way stretch, thermal insulation. Double-textured finer fabrics caress the skin and offer thermal insulation, the finest fibres for the most refined denim look. The secret of ISKO™ Cosy denim’s cosiness is that finer fabrics together create a softer fabric perfect for thermal insulation and wind protection. This Hybrid denim prevents cold air from sneaking in. Both the thermal insulation and wind protection make ISKO™ Cosy perfect for adventures in the city in any kind of weather. The finest fibres for the most refined denim look. The secret of ISKO™ Cosy denim’s cosiness is that finer fabrics together create a softer fabric perfect for thermal insulation and wind protection.
Can I wash my products in my washing machine?
Yes, you can. Wash it always cold and with similar colors and do not use anything else other than laundry detergent during the wash. Please do not dry clean or use bleach, and we also do not recommend you to iron the products. Air dry them in a clean environment.
Can I dry clean my ARTEFIT™ products?
No. You can wash your products by hand or in the washing machine. More information can be find under the product description.

Compression Tights
What does Diamond shaped gusset means?
It is the insert in the crotch area. In the shape of a diamond. This allows stress to be redistributed around the crotch area, allowing greater freedom of movement, comfort and strength.
Does the fabric show sweat?
No, the fabric has moisture wicking properties. Moisture, liquid or sweat in this case moves through tiny spaces within the fabric to the fabric’s surfaces. Fabric is breathable; allows internal moisture (sweat) to escape through the fabric, allowing the skin to breathe and feel comfortable
Where is the compression applied on these products?
ARTEFIT™ compression garments exert a gentle squeeze which is graduated because the pressure starts first at the ankle (100%) and then gradually decreases as it moves further up the leg.
What is sustainable about the tights?
Less wash: The garment keeps shape and performs compression properties 4 times longer than other products in the market, therefore, ironing is also not needed or recommended.
What is the benefit of a 4-way stretch?
You have complete freedom of movement during fitness and more efficient body movement.
Are these products true size?
When not worn they tend to look small. As this is a compression product it is a tighter fit that hugs the body. Fit will look smaller than other sports brands with non-compression products. It's highly important that you measure yourself by checking the size guide to buy the correct size/fit.
Are the men's tights high-waisted?
No, they are mid-rise. The rise is constructed so that it sits perfectly under your waist, drawstring guarantees no slipping down.

Tecnologia tessuta vs tecnologia a maglia
Quando abbiamo messo a confronto tessuti e tessuti a maglia, abbiamo scoperto che i tessuti bielastici possiedono migliori proprietà di compressione prima e dopo i lavaggi e conservano la durata dopo un utilizzo ripetuto. Diversamente vale per i tessuti elastici lavorati a maglia, che dopo un utilizzo ripetuto perdono la propria capacità di compressione. Gli indumenti a compressione creano un effetto micro massaggiante con dei picchi di pressione. Il Dynamic Stiffness Index (DSI) misura di queste pressioni e determina l'efficacia di un prodotto di compressione. Il DSI degli indumenti in tessuto è di circa il 50% superiore rispetto ai tessuti sportivi a compressione a maglia comparabili. Pertanto, i tessuti intessuti amplificano significativamente i vantaggi della compressione. Inoltre, i test hanno dimostrato come ISKO Vital™ riesce a mantenere elevata la resistenza alla compressione nonostante i lavaggi ripetuti.
